Pr. Ahmed Algouti, pilier de la recherche et de la formation doctorale

Professor Ahmed Algouti, an eminent researcher at the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia – Cadi Ayyad University, is distinguished by his pioneering work in sedimentology and paleoenvironment. Former Director of the "Geology of Moroccan Sedimentary Basins" laboratory and Director of the "Geosciences, Geotourism, Natural Hazards, and Remote Sensing (2GRNT)" laboratory, he is currently the Director of the Doctoral Studies Center for Sciences and Techniques and Medical Sciences at Cadi Ayyad University. He represents a cornerstone of both research and doctoral training.

His scientific contributions are widely recognized at both the national and international levels, reflecting the impact and relevance of his work. His research, combining rigorous fieldwork, stratigraphic analysis, and innovative approaches through GIS and remote sensing, provides valuable insights into the evolution of sedimentary basins and the dynamics of past environments.
