Arizona State University (ASU) and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education (AGFE) are collaborating to offer scholarships to high-achieving disadvantaged Arab youth to obtain their master’s degrees online at ASU. 

The Open Learning Scholars Program ( is a full-ride scholarship focused on 33 STEM-related specializations, spanning the fields of engineering, technology, health, education, and tourism, which are considered rare in our region and so are key to building knowledge among youth in the region.

With the OLSP’s 10th cycle now open until on Sunday, January 12th @1pm UAE time, students applying to the scholarship by that mentioned date will be considered for ASU’s Summer/Fall 2020 intake. 

Attachment:  the  toolkit which will help you disseminate the message to your graduates and Alumni, it contains the following:

  1. General information about the OLS Program, eligibility criteria, list of approved MA programs for funding and helpful links/videos
  2. A few templates which you can use to email/FB post or other social media platforms. 
  3. Most importantly, it contains a dedicated registration link for CAU employees and students/Network to apply to ( Please note that it is important that students start the application process through this link as it will allow us to track and qualify them. This way we will be able to support your students in the best way possible. 
  4. Deadline for the Summer/Fall-2020 intake is  Sunday, January 12th @1pm UAE time.
