PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) is a research and innovation program focused on the Mediterranean region. Initiated by Mediterranean countries, it is structured as an initiative under Article 185* of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU. The primary objective of PRIMA is to enhance cooperation in research and innovation among Mediterranean countries, aiming to develop innovative solutions that address the challenges of sustainable food production and water security.
