Application Procedure:
To participate in the Erasmus+ program, you must be enrolled at a university institution and pursuing a course that leads to a recognized higher education degree. Undergraduate students must be at least in their second year of study. Please note that Erasmus+ mobility does not grant a degree; the home university awards the degree, while the host university provides a transcript and a mobility certificate.
To be eligible for an Erasmus+ scholarship, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a student, PhD candidate, or university staff member enrolled or working at one of the university's institutions at the time of application and during the mobility year.
- Not have previously received a European scholarship (Erasmus+ or Erasmus Mundus) for the same study cycle (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD), as the maximum duration of funding for each cycle is 12 months.
- Have sufficient proficiency in the language of instruction at the host university.
If you wish to participate in the Erasmus+ exchange program, please check the calls for applications regularly on the university's official website. To ensure wide visibility within the university community, all calls for applications are posted at the following link: https://www.uca.ma/
Each call provides detailed information, including eligible study levels, required documents, available topics and courses, deadlines, and the submission process. Applicants are strongly encouraged to consult with their program coordinator or academic advisor when preparing their application to ensure alignment with the study programs offered by the host university.
You must submit your Learning Agreement, signed by your academic advisor, with your application. Applications without this signature will be rejected. The Learning Agreement should list all courses already completed at UCA, along with the corresponding credits, totaling 30 ECTS for one semester and 60 ECTS for an academic year.
Selection Criteria:
While academic records and grades are important, the following factors will also be considered in the selection process:
• Coherence of the project
• Motivation
• Language proficiency
• Availability of spots at the requested university
Eligibility Requirements:
- Only complete applications (with all required documents and signatures) will be considered.
- Applications containing fraudulent documents will be automatically disqualified.
- Non-accumulation criterion: A maximum of 12 months of EU funding is allowed for the same study level.
The final selection will be made by the host university based on the following criteria:
• Academic, scientific, and professional excellence
• Quality and feasibility of the candidate's mobility project
• Language proficiency
• Candidate's motivation
• Distribution of mobilities by academic level and discipline
• Vulnerability of the candidates (e.g., health or social challenges)
Once the selection process is complete and the lists are validated, only the host university is authorized to communicate the results to candidates via email. Selected candidates will have a specified period to accept or decline the mobility scholarship.
Preparing for Departure:
Once selected candidates confirm their acceptance of the scholarship, they will receive an official acceptance letter from the host institution, which will enable them to begin the visa application process.
It is the responsibility of the recipients to provide all required documents requested by the embassies or consulates of the host country. The International Relations Departments at both the home and host universities can assist with information regarding the visa procedure.
After obtaining the visa, recipients should contact the host university’s International Relations Department for further details on accommodation, insurance, and transportation.
Before departure, recipients must:
• Submit a copy of the acceptance letter, Learning Agreement, visa, and flight ticket to the dean's office or administration of their home institution.
• Confirm with the host institution any additional documents required for registration at the university and in the host country.
