In line with Law No. 01.00 governing Higher Education, and in recognition of the vital role of continuing education in fostering professional development and reinforcing connections with the socio-economic sector, Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech offers a diverse array of degree-granting and qualifying training programs. These programs are designed either in collaboration with socio-economic stakeholders or initiated by the University itself to address clearly identified needs.
Types of continuing education programs and their intended audience
- Degree-Granting continuing education program: This program leads to a University Degree (DU), and is a standardized, accredited training program with a well-defined curriculum. It is mainly intended for individuals who have interrupted their studies and wish to re-enter the workforce or advance in their professional careers.
- Qualifying continuing education program: This program awards a University Certificate (CU) and consists of a limited number of modules aimed at equipping participants with specialized qualifications in a specific field. It is primarily designed for professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in their current field or explore new disciplines beyond their initial training.
- Specialized Training program: This program is designed in response to requests from businesses, associations, public institutions, and local stakeholders seeking to strengthen the professional competencies of their employees in targeted areas of expertise.
- Advanced Seminars: These seminars are organized in response to technical, legislative, or procedural developments. They are specifically designed for professionals from the private and semi-public sectors, government officials, and personnel from local authorities and public institutions seeking to upgrade their skills and strengthen their expertise.
- Training Internships: These primarily involve international exchanges for short-term stays focused on language, culture, or other disciplines, following the "summer school" model. They can also be arranged at the request of a group of interested participants or a national organization at different times throughout the year.
- Supplementary Training: This program aims to bridge knowledge gaps as part of a process for the Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE).
