Prof. Laila Mandi Honoured with GAÏA Environment Award at SITeau 2026 in Marrakech

On the sidelines of the 9th edition of the International Exhibition for Water, Sanitation and Energy Technologies (SITeau), held from 13 to 15 May 2026 in Marrakech, Prof. Laila Mandi was awarded the GAÏA Environment Award.

This distinguished international accolade recognises her sustained scientific commitment and her significant contributions to key fields, including sustainable water management, sanitation, and innovative environmental solutions.

Presented during the exhibition’s closing ceremony, the GAÏA Award honours individuals and initiatives that make a meaningful impact on the preservation of natural resources and the advancement of sustainable development.
