Cadi Ayyad University Ranks Among World’s Top 100 Young Universities
Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech has once again affirmed its leadership by ranking 59th in the Times Higher Education (THE) list of the world’s top 100 young universities, set to be officially published on April 29, 2015. This ranking complements the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings, also published by THE, and highlights the best-performing universities under 50 years of age.
Cadi Ayyad University is proud to be the first Arab university and the only institution representing both Morocco and the African continent to appear in this prestigious ranking, alongside globally renowned universities and institutions. This recognition reaffirms the university’s dynamic growth and its strong commitment to achieving excellence on the global academic stage.
The ranking is based on the same 13 performance indicators used in the THE World University Rankings. These include teaching environment, academic research, volume and impact of scientific publications, innovation, and international outlook.
This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of the entire university community, which continues to drive forward a proactive and innovative approach aimed at positioning Cadi Ayyad University as a benchmark institution in the international higher education landscape. It builds on the university’s impressive performance in previous rankings over the past two years and underscores the effectiveness and creativity of its development strategy—particularly its focus on enhancing global visibility and international outreach.
Ultimately, this recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of the university’s most vital assets: its faculty members, academic and administrative teams, whose continued commitment has helped establish Cadi Ayyad University as a respected name within the global academic community.
