Cadi Ayyad University Achieves International Recognition through the AIQGenerator Project

Cadi Ayyad University has received new international recognition following the outstanding achievement of Prof. Hiba Asri and Prof. Abdelali Rochdi, representing the University's Centre for Pedagogical Innovation (CIP) and the Kingdom of Morocco. Their innovative project, AIQGenerator: Pedagogically-Aware AI System, was awarded the Outstanding Innovation and Creativity Special Award at the 2nd International Competition on Artificial Intelligence in Education, held in Hong Kong, China.

The award recognises the project's innovative nature and pedagogically driven approach. AIQGenerator is an artificial intelligence-powered system designed to assist educators in generating assessment questions aligned with learning objectives and students' cognitive levels.

The competition brought together more than 97 teams from across China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Morocco, and other countries, underscoring the event's highly competitive and international profile.

This prestigious distinction reflects the continued commitment of Cadi Ayyad University and its Centre for Pedagogical Innovation to advancing educational innovation, developing cutting-edge digital solutions, and strengthening the University's international profile. It also highlights Morocco's growing contribution to the field of artificial intelligence in education.
